Elyssa Munch

Hi! My name is Elyssa, I am a scenic designer and artist. I have a BFA in Theatre with a Scenic Design emphasis from the University of Minnesota Duluth. I have been involved in theatre for the past eight years with varied project experience. My first few years of theatre were in high school, where I assisted primarily in building and painting scenery for shows as well as various stagehand positions during performances. After graduation and upon my acceptance into UMD, I interviewed for the BFA program to further my education and experience in the theatre world. 

 

I have always been mesmerized by theatre and my early involvement spurred my interest in design. I delight in imagining new worlds and telling a story through an environment. From the shape to the color to the seemingly unimportant details, executing mine and my production team's vision for a show is always a priority. I strive to put my best foot forward at all times and give my full attention to ensuring I produce a quality design.
